KMLE “Shiftwork”:  Monday-Friday from 9am to 1pm

Where I Come From”:  Born in TEXAS, grew up in Stephenville, a small, beautiful town about 1 hour southwest of Dallas-Ft.Worth.    http://tourtexas.com/stephenville/

Celebrity”:  Stephenville may be a small Texas town but it is home to many celebrities.    Ty Murray and Jewel own a ranch in Stephenville.  I attended school with blues/country slide guitar master LeeRoy Parnell http://www.leeroyparnell.com/.   And those famous Stephenville UFO sightings in Spring 2008 really put my hometown on the map!”

Mama Tried”:  She did more than try!  My mom is an amazing woman.  She raised my 3 siblings and me mostly as a single parent.  I don’t know how she did it!  Her name is Shirley and she now lives in Granbury, Texas with her husband and my step-dad, Neil.

”Who’s Your Daddy”: My daddy is Bob Moody, a retired oil man, who lives with his wife  in the south Texas town of Jourdantan (JERD-in-tun).

He Didn’t Have To Be”:  My step-dad Neil married my mom just as I was moving out of the house to go to college.  He helped me buy my first car, loaned me money when I needed help, fed me countless meals, took me on vacations I couldn’t ever have afforded,  and gave me his sage advice (which I sometimes heeded and sometimes didn’t!).  He didn’t have to take all his wife’s grown children in and treat them as his own, but he did and does.

Family Tradition”:   Sis Margaret, Sis Marjorie, Bro Paul, Bro Brad, Bro Eric Zane.   They are my best friends and I couldn’t imagine not having them in my life.

When I Said I Do”:  I met my husband Chris when I was still living in Texas, but after a year-long, long distance romance, I moved to Arizona and we got married.

I Saw God Today”:   I see God’s beauty everyday - my son Dillon is 13 and my daughter Lawsen Anne is 11.

All My Exes Live in Texas”:  NO, I am not going to tell you about all my past love life!  This classic George Strait song includes a line about my families annual and favorite vacation spot.  Every July since I was a toddler, we have packed up the camping gear and moved into our camping spot on the Frio River in Texas.  The line goes “I remember that old Frio where I learned to swim”.   My kids now live this tradition!
