We always bring home a new Frio t-shirt each year!

My family has been camping here since I was kid, but this is the first time I’ve ever taken a picture of the gate entrance. I hopped out of the car as we were pulling out early Friday morning and took this beautiful shot.

I was about 4 years old and I’m sitting on a picnic table in my Papa and Mama Cunyus’ backyard in Stephenville, Texas.  Fond memories of this place and time.   

Brad was thrilled to get the LETTER TO HIM that the KMLE Nation signed before the show.  He said he would tack it up in his bus so he could read all the messages you wrote!  I told him that after he read it all, he could use it as a picnic table cloth at his next family reunion.  (Just kidding!)  I did ask him where he kept all the chocolate he got from Hershey’s.  He wouldn’t give me any!

It’s not everyday I get a big country-music-star-hug like this one!  This was backstage at the KMLE Nation Appreciation concert on May 9 at Graham Central Station.  Listen for Keith’s new song “I Still Miss You” on the KMLE from his upcoming CD release “C’MON” due out in August 2008.  

The 18th Annual City of Hope Celebrity Baseball game was one of the first events of this year’s CMA Music Festival - Fan Fair in Nashville (Wed, June 4).   Each year the game raises money for City of Hope, a leading research and treatment institution for cancer and other life-threatening diseases.   Syndicated radio host Blair Garner’s team (Pitcher Jo Dee Messina, Jake Owen, Chuck Wicks, Sara Evans, Joe Nichols, Montgomery Gentry, Adam Gregory, James Otto, Jimmy Wayne, Keith Anderson) beat the Grand Ole Opry Live team (Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Chris Cagle, Luke Bryan, Phil Vassar) 8 to 1!!

Girls, is this guy cute or what?  THIS is ADAM GREGORY, 22 year old Canadian singer and star of the KMLE’s A YEAR IN THE CAREER spotlight.   Adam was my co-host in Las Vegas at the Academy of Country Music backstage broadcast.  You’ll hear him in all the interviews we did during Friday’s broadcast.  This picture was taken at the end of a 4 hour broadcast and after Adam played a 20 minute acoustic set for all the KMLE Nation ACM trip winners!  This shot was taken in a conference at the beautiful Monte Carlo Hotel in Vegas where we all stayed.  (Boring conference room; LOVELY HOTEL!)
